The Neousys Nuvo-7166GC is a rugged edge AI inference platform, designed for advanced inference acceleration such as voice, video, image and recommendation applications. The industrial PC supports the integration of a NVIDIA® Tesla Tesla T4 GPU, with 8.1 TFLOPS in FP32 and 130 TOPs in INT8 for real-time inference based on a trained neural network model. Equipped with an industrial embedded motherboard with Intel® Q370 platform controller hub, the industrial box PC supports an Intel® 9th / 8th generation Coffee Lake Core ™ 8/6-core CPU and 32 GB DDR4-2666, offering an excellent balance between CPU, GPU and memory performance. Thanks to the patented Neousys Cassette and air tunnel design, the Nuvo-7166GC is able to effectively dissipate the heat generated by the GPU. This promising design guarantees a completely fanless system operation up to 60 ° C ambient temperature with continuous 100% CPU and GPU load. The Neousys Nuvo-7166GC has advanced I/O technologies to improve overall system flexibility, functionality and performance. The industrial embedded system has an M.2 NVMe interface that enables an integration of an SSD with fast read/write speeds. Rapid data transfer can also be realized via the available USB 3.1 Gen2 / GbE ports, this is ideal for obtaining essential field data. Via the integrated Neousys M Cassette module, the fanless industrial PC can be equipped with a high performance PCIe card via 2x Gen3, x8 link PCIe slots, or a variety of sensor / image acquisition cards. Fanless box PC for AI inference applications

Machine learning applications consist of two different phases: AI training and Inference. AI training requires intensive computing power to develop a neural network model, while AI-Inference focuses on the analysis of field data and the prediction of field performance (edge computing), based on the trained model.

PoE connections for AI applications

Because the PC has 6 GbE ports, it is possible to connect the industrial embedded PC to your internal network entirely according to your wishes. The GbE ports 3-6 can also be used for PoE purposes. This way you can easily connect up to 3 IP pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) video cameras to this industrial fanless box PC. This is ideal for AI applications that use PoE cameras, such as access control or visual inspection.
