EV Charger Management & Teltonika TRB140

EV smart charging stations must have a stable internet connection in order to monitor the charging history and to be able to manage the charging station remotely. In this manner, electricity costs can be settled automatically and the charging station software can be updated from a distance.

In areas with an unstable Ethernet connection, these EV charging stations require a backup internet connection in order to successfully implement remote management.

The integration of a Teltonika TRB140 is then the logical choice, implemented with reliable mobile communication and remote management features, these routers offer a total solution for EV charger management applications.

With these mobile industrial routers, the charging status of a charging station can easily be read out via 3G/4G. By means of the Firewall and Static Leases feature, port forwarding and assigning a static IP address can be realized.

The Teltonika TRB140 with 4G LTE provides a direct system connectivity with traditional and modern industrial systems, allowing live support and configuration services to be used to assist system administrators in solving challenges arising from the coating process.

Wi-Fi functionality provides local connectivity for system administrators to visualize system data using portable devices.

System administrators with different responsibilities can monitor live data dashboards that are tailored to their interests and give early notifications about maintenance, efficiency and coating quality.

System owners can monitor output data, regarding the use of their equipment to prevent unauthorized use of expensive powder coating systems.

This Teltonika IoT device is compatible with the Teltonika Remote Management System (RMS), through which not only the router status can be monitored, but also the 4G router itself can be configured. The Teltonika RMS platform is hosted by Amazon Web Services and is therefore very accessible and secure.
